The activities provided on Avalien Ghadam's©™ website is a basic introduction to the formation and style of reading and writing modern Persian(Farsi) for mixed Iranian/Persian families who have little or no knowledge of the language.
The creator's and designers of Avalien Ghadam©™ work in collaboration with Iranian teachers who taught at the Elementary and High School levels in Iran to correctly follow the guidelines of the Iranian letters and symbols used on this site. The teachers are also presently teaching Persian(Farsi) classes for the Board of Education in Canada.
Persian/Farsi is a very rich language and has changed very little since the tenth and eleventh centuries. However, this new Persian as it is called today, is commonly spoken incorporating some words from other languages e.g Mahsheen(Machine) which is a common word in Persian(Farsi) to mean 'car'.
The owner's and members of Avalien Ghadam© DO NOT make any claims that the information provided on this site is a formal tool for Persian(Farsi). The ideas and views expressed are mainly those of the creators based on Persian(Farsi) experiences with their young children and the results that were achieved using the method so presented.
To obtain a formal approach to the language we strongly advise and recommend that you contact the Board of Education in your country and state for the proper guidelines and curriculum regarding Persian(Farsi).
Although all attempts are made to follow the guidelines of Persian(Farsi), there may be information on this site that follow the commonly spoken Persian/Farsi widely used today and DO NOT adhere to the formal rules of the language. Avalien Ghadam's©™ goal is to provide a route for children and adults who have little or no knowledge of the language to visually familiarize themselves with the letters that make up the basic foundation for reading and writing the language.
Please enjoy the site, www.avalienghadam.com and we welcome each and everyone to the world of Persian(Farsi).
